The majority of consumers are not ready to await longer compared to a couple of seconds for an e-commerce page to lots, according to current study from Imperva Incapsula.

The file was based on information from a survey performed in 4Q15 of 4,568 adults in the USA who self-report their shopping regularity to be somewhat usually or a lot more.

Some 35 % of participants state they want to wait 3-5 seconds for an e-commerce website web page to lots, 20 % want to wait less than 3 seconds, and also 7 % expect a page lots promptly.

Just 38 % of customers surveyed are willing to wait longer compared to 5 secs for an e-commerce page to lots.

Some 44 % of participants state they try to refill the page when an ecommerce website takes too lengthy to load; 35 % say they merely leave the web site.

Some 68 % of respondents say they are unlikely to return to a shopping website that has poor efficiency.
